Posted March 08, 2019 12:27:47With the Surface Pro 5 launching today, Microsoft is offering a thinner, lighter and more energy efficient version of its tablet.
The Surface Pro 2 was a $1,499 machine that offered a screen and an integrated keyboard, but the Surface 3 was the first to use a more powerful Intel Core i5-6600U processor with 4GB of RAM and a 128GB SSD.
Microsoft says that Surface Pro 4 is an improvement on the Pro 3, and that the machine will also have the latest Intel Core m7 processor, up to 32GB of storage, a 10.1-inch, 1080p screen and a microSD slot.
Microsoft is also selling the Pro 4 in four colors: white, black, gold and silver.
The machine is expected to go on sale in March, with prices starting at $1.99 per day, $1 off the MSRP.
